I was so happy when i first saw this. RED ambassador!!!! Imagine... there's so many things i could do! RED ambassador is one responsibility that i will not hesitate nor reject to take up. I had so many ideas running around in my head when i read the title....

BUT

as i read on... i found out that it is only meant for institutions in United States.

Wondering why i am so desperate to be the RED Ambassador?

Before i tell you why i want to be the RED Ambassador so badly, let me tell you about (RED) and what it is all about.

(RED) was created by Bono and Bobby Shriver to raise awareness and money for The Global Fund by teaming up with world's iconic brands (such as Apple, Motorola, Converse, GAP, DELL, American Express) to produce (PRODUCT) RED branded products. A percentage of each (PRODUCT) RED product sold is given to The Global Fund and the money will then helps women and children affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa.

As a proud fan of a (PRODUCT) RED, I've done a few class assignments based on (RED) if i were given the chance and i am very glad to be able to share about these special products with my classmates and lecturers. So if I am chosen as the (RED) Ambassador, I am able to make a VERY big difference more than what I am currently doing. I will not only be the purchaser of (PRODUCT) RED but I will be able to promote it at a large scale and best of all, I am able to make a difference! I believe i could although I've never try it before.

When i came to this new university, I told myself to keep as low profile as possible. I had so many task and jobs and responsibility given to me back when i was in my previous college, but when i enter this new uni, I only wanted to concentrate my attention only to my studies and therefore, I did not participate much in school activities (and they don't have much here unless you are some rich, pretty gal). But when I saw this ambassador ad, I am so excited... but then too bad.. it's only for Americans.

Have you watch The Children of Huang Shi?

the movie is SUPERB~ not extremely superb or the movie of the year kind of thing... but the whole story itself is very nice, the mise-en-scene (staging, costume and make up, prop, lighting and the movement and lighting) especially was great. (i study cinema language... so pardon me. my lecturer must be so proud that i am even using the terms in my blog :P). The funny part about the movie is when George Hogg (Jonathan Meyers) speak mandarin. Not that I speak good mandarin myself, but i guess there are words that i do understand and it makes the whole movie real fun to watch. I had a good laugh at his slang and i know... i sound just like him when i speak mandarin. LOL! =D Furthermore, it is based on a true story of George Hogg and this makes it all even better. When i was watching the first part of the movie, when George Hogg witness how the Japanese was killing innocent chinese children, I was shocked just like George Hogg. He was trembling while he took pictures of it. And suddenly i ask myself, "Why didn't we, Chinese hate Japanese for what they did to our children?".

Ironically, many Chinese friends I know love Japanese stuff so much that they draw like anime and falls deeply in love with Japanese culture. Some even try to speak Japanese to Malaysians who don't understand Japanese and assume everyone in Malaysia actually knows it (do they think they are smarter?) . One of my classmates claim that he's such a pro-Japan that he watch every anime that are release and he's so proud about it ... It makes me wonder....they claim they know everything about Japan and their culture, do they know about that piece of history where they, the Japanese cruelly killed innocent children during those war times?

okie... let me stop ranting about the anime fan and japanese pro stuff... i can continue to rant and rant about it like there's no tomorrow or like there's no deadlines for my assignment... so .. i guess i better get back to reality and continue with my initial intention in mind about my blog for today... which is to talk about my drawing on Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

Drew that last night while i was watching Birmingham vs Liverpool match. I took less than an hour. I was so in love with that movie that i couldn't help myself to take some time away from my assignments to spend on drawing this handsome face. This piece of drawing is going to be on the wall beside my bed and i will look at it while i fall asleep every night!

So now that I am done showing you my own personal artwork for this week, I will continue with my work and hopefully i can retire to bed early today so that i can stare at my wall and fall asleep and wake up with a nice dream.......

Getting a new love

YES! i am getting a new love! a new lover!

Eileen is planning to go to Penang for a few day on Tuesday evening and that means that she's skipping class on Wednesday~

currently I am having a slight fever and even when i don't have the appetite, i force myself to eat as much as i could because i do not want to fall sick. The chicken pox virus has been going on around here (the place i am currently at) lately. Since i am still a chicken pox virgin, i am extremely scared that i will loose my pox virginity. I know how much i will suffer and worst of all i am entering my most crucial weeks of the semester! The workload is extremely crazy and like many other post from last semester around this time of the sem, I can't afford to get sick! I have a lot of crazy ideas floating around my brain for my assignment this semester and hopefully they are all executed just like what i have in mind but if i were to get the pox sickness....................i am sure the lecturer will get a piece of sheet from me by the end of the semester ...hopefully not....

n YES~ i am getting a NEW lover when i am back in Penang! YES~ A new lover~ i'll update u soon! so stay tune!

Just me about Malaysian Dream Girl

Have been wanting to blog about MDG for a very long time but i never did. So today, finally I did. So here goes....


There's only 6 girls left in the competition. They are

My comment:
Adeline has the height. From the show, I can see that she doesn't gossip much about other girls in the house but still she's doing great unlike Eyna who doesn't talk much and does not have enough votes to allow her to stay. Wish Eyna is still here....

2. Cindy

Cindy is too bit*chy for me. She doesn't appear like a girl that I would regard as a Dreamgirl. She's too ah lian and I don't think that she's capable of being a top model because of her attitude and her normal look. Probably she'll do great in some soft porn DVD interface. (sorry, i know i am harsh here). But is this a dreamgirl competition... she might be in the top 3 if her family and guys continue to vote for her. I don't think she can win votes from girls... just my thinking...

What's with this make up girl? Makes her look so UGLY FUGLY OLD!

3. Hanis

Hanis... the sweet girl next door? I DON'T THINK SO!!!! She looks like an innocent girl with that fresh and naive look... but from my opinion, I think she's the smart one at trying to mastermind and make people vote for her. She's complaining so much about everyone and she's swearing so much in front of the camera (epi 13 when she was disqualified)! Innocent?? -.-"" I know when you are angry, words come out from your mouth... but hello... she knows the camera is rolling....and furthermore, i notice that when Cindy was in the bottom 3, she gossip about her kau kau and when Nadia is at the bottom three, she switches her target and then start gossiping about how competitive Nadia is and how Nadia is spreading the negative vibe to others. Probably she's trying to win some votes from Cindy and Nadia's fan. :P Smart? Well.. this is a reality show... everyone has their own way of doing things... i just don't like her gossiping so much about others.... totally not DREAMGIRL-lah.

Like i said earlier on Cindy, she might not be a model material but has the potential to win and be in the top 3 because a lot of people is voting for her. So i am not surprise if she's in the top 3. This is a Dreamgirl competition it is based on votes. Her family will definitely continue to vote for her... no doubt.

Jay is probably the most qualified among all the girls for modeling. She won Project Runway (which I think is because she's lucky since she was paired with the winning designer). Her height and her body is just perfect. Potential! Vote!

5. Nadia

normal picture and i don't like her mouth here. I know it's hard to control the expression and jump at the same time!

My comment:

Nadia is HOT! but it will be hotter if she got the height. She's probably lacking in that and everyone is complaining about her looking fierce. Well.. that's her face, her normal facial expression... she can't be un-fierce for 24hrs can she? I know how she feel cos i have people complaining about me looking fierce while i was just being normal.. so i know how Nadia feels and i am sure she's struggling to get rid of it. We are born with the fierce face.. and that doesn't mean we don't smile and laugh and that we aren't the nicest people. Furthermore, being competitive is good. I don't see the negative thingy about spreading the confident vibe to other girls. This is a competition and being competitive will give the competition and extra kick and every girl will try to outperform others and this is good for us as viewers. Like a football match, an equal attacking and defending skills from both team makes the whole game a good game. So, i would love Nadia to continue to spread the competitiveness vibe and make everyone step up a notch and give us the very best the first MDG can give to us viewers. Vote for NADIA!

6. Ringo

My comment:

the cheese? I used to be one of the anti-ringo girl. I never like her cheeseland blog, never like her Women'Secret photo and thinks that she's two face. But after watching 14 episodes, I think I've decided to change my mind. She apologize to everyone about her entry (well at least she's sincere enough to own up her own mistake) and to avoid the bitching scenario happening in the house, she's finding her solace in reading books which i think is a very good example. She doesn't have the height, but i think it is good that we are seeing a girl as petite as her is given a chance to prove herself. She might not have the model height, but i can see that she's not making that as an excuse for not performing well. She's confident and know what she wants. If Nadia or Jay do not win this contest, I hope Ringo wins it!

the show...

the show is getting more and more credibility and giving the girls a chance to catwalk in MIFA is definitely something. I am sure no one expect this to happen.. even the girls said so. I am sure it is once in a lifetime opportunity that all the girls will remember - even for Ringo although she never get a chance to prove herself! The editing is getting better but still there's still lots of room for improvement!

Discovery and discoveries

First Discovery

I was down with flu last night... after 6 days and 5 nights of endless work on my assignments.. finally i broke halfway down last night...

i got myself infected wit flu and sore throat... while i was taking my dinner halfway. Suddenly the flu and sore throat just come. it is like the virus just flew right through my nose into my body while i was eating....or was the virus was in the food and i just swallow it together with the nasi goreng daging ...

Ironically.... i've been taking lots of apple lately and i still fall sick... guess the saying "An apple a day keeps the doctors away" is just a myth?

Second discovery

Ice-cream helps to cure sore throats.

I just had the urge to eat a stick of ice-cream right after dinner although the weather was so cooling. So i bought myself a stick of Solero and ate it while i walk back to my apartment under the rain with my other hand holding an umbrella.

after 2 - 3 hrs.... the sore throat is GONE! WOW! scream with joy!

Gosh i wish i can just continue to sleep... i had a very nice dream just now when i was taking my 1hr nap.......

There's this nice sweet guy in my dream and both of us are so in love but.. we aren't a couple (ironically!). He did so many nice things for me...i cant remember what he did after i woke up... but i do remember i woke up with a smile on my face .

Q: What is the photo shoot session for?

A: For illustration class

Q: Illustration? But why do you need photo shoot session? Isn't that for photography class?

A: The lecturer wants us to draw a full figure drawing

Q: Yea... but why do you need to take pictures?

A: Because we are not allow to use pictures from internet. Supposed to use own original pictures....


So that's the problem with the school for this semester. Every assignment we need to take our own pictures. NO internet download!
